It has been far too long since I have seen you. I trust your work has been pleasant, undemanding, and relatively safe since last we met.

I hope you will forgive my forwardness, but I have just become aware of a Grand Ball which is being planned soon. I do love to dance, and have missed several Balls lately since I find myself without a regular companion.

I am hoping that you might consider escorting me for this occasion. If you have time in your busy schedule, perhaps you will look for me in or around the Crossing at your earliest convenience and we can make plans for this.
